I am thrilled to finally see a web site dedicated to Harry Van Arsdale Jr. I am an apprentice in local#3 and a resident of Electchester. It's meaningful for me to have a place to reference his history as I am forever inspired by the stories my older neighbors and longtime journeymen tell me of him. What a great site and a great idea ! Seeing this site makes one proud to be part of such a great organization .It's good to be reminded of the rich history of Local 3 and the man who made it all possible . This site will also be good for the younger and/or new members who are not aware of the accomplishments of Harry . Not only the accomplishments for all Local 3 members and their families but also for all working men and woman in NYC and this country .
